This poll began way back in 2001 & over 6 MILLION votes have been cast to determine the Top 40 List. The quest to find the 5 Best TV Shows of All Time remains and there is still no end in sight! Any show that reaches 250,000 votes is permanently added to the TV_Vote Fan Power Hall of Fame. Four shows are currently in the Hall of Fame: Xena: Warrior Princess 3/19/07, Firefly 5/1/07, Bonanza 5/16/07, & Gunsmoke 2/3/08

A: Ah, but this isn't just any old Hall of Fame, boys and girls. This is the TV_Vote Fan Power Hall of Fame, specifically dedicated to loyal fans and fan groups who can prove their fan power by sticking to it long enough to reach an amazing quarter of a million votes in our poll. Think of it as an extra incentive, like giving out a special achievement Emmy? or Golden Globe?.

Thanks Willie, Tesser from TV.com got me hooked into voting on this poll. I love it. Nice and easy and I can vote every 60 minutes. Most days I vote at least 6 times. I just have the link in my favourites at work and at home.

I've been voting here since last December, and I try to vote as much as I can. Like Lisa, I vote at least 6 times a day, but most of the times is more than that. I too have the link in my favorites.
We are definitely gonna make it to the quarter million votes!!

Moonlight needs 23,036 votes to make it into the Top 40!

As an inspiration think of the show Firefly. It ran from Sept to Dec 2002. Fox canx it mid-season giving it only 15 eps. It went on to be re-aired on SciFi although no season 2 emerged. Yet the dedicated group for Firefly fans have continued to vote Firefly as the Top Show of all time. Firefly is currently #1 with 697,578 votes. It made the Hall of Fame status in May 1, 2007. Took them 4 1/2 yrs to do it but they didn't give up & they continue to vote for Firefly even today!

Yeah no matter what happens to the show (even after it gets a pick up ) we need to keep voting! I would love to see our show get 250.000 plus votes! Just think how proud Alex would be to know that his show is in the top 40 shows of all time and that his loyal fans put it in the Hall of Fame!

Thanks Willie (and Tesser) for all your work with keeping us updated on this poll. Yippee we got to number 2. I love checking each morning (or sometimes late at night) when the new totals are posted. It is just something else we can all make an impact on to highlight how wonderful Moonlight is as a TV show (but we all know that it is more than just a TV show, right!)
